This program is valuable for interventionalists seeking to understand the current state of contrast-induced acute kidney injury during PCI. Attend informative presentations about the latest guidelines, Cath lab practices and economics, and the prevention of CI-AKI in high-risk patients. Plus, learn from helpful discussions on the use of the DyeVert® Plus system and the minimizing of contrast use to protect patient's kidney functions. Presentations will be followed by a case presentation and panel discussion.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Identify risk factors associated with contrast-induced kidney injury and implications of different procedural approaches
  • Explain how dye saving contributes to reduced incidence of contrast-induced kidney disease
  • Discuss the benefits of minimizing contrast use and the latest guidelines

This educational activity is designed for interventional cardiologists, clinical cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with cardiovascular disease.

Evaluation by questionnaire will address content, presentations, and future educational needs.
